Client Care Manager
Mary Quarles began her career with Golden Heart Senior Care – Rochester Hills, as a Caregiver in March, 2015. She was promoted to the position of Client Care Manager in November, 2015 . In this role Mary is the primary day-to-day point of contact for all clients to assist them with special requests, update their Care Plans, and ensure they are happy with our services. She also works with our CEO to conduct initial in-home visits and assessments with prospective clients.
Mary has been working in Healthcare since 1997. She was employed by Wm. Beaumont Hospital for 11 years as a Senior Phlebotomist where she received her certification in Phlebotomy. Mary’s responsibilities included training new phlebotomists and occasionally training nursing and medical students to draw labs for specialty units. Specialty units included all ICU’s, NICU/PICU, pediatrics and nursery. During her years of service with Wm. Beaumont Hospital, Mary also worked as a Hospice volunteer.
In 2010, Mary changed career paths and began working as a Caregiver providing in-home care. She has worked with several local in-home care agencies where services varied from live-in to daily/weekly care. Mary has experience with clients who have been diagnosed with dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease, diabetes, as well as caring for stroke and hospice patients. She also has experience as a private in-home caregiver. For this client, Mary was responsible with providing 24/7 care, including traveling between Michigan and Florida for several years. She found this to be a unique and challenging experience as a caregiver… especially the traveling!
Mary attended Oakland Community College where she studied Medical Assisting.
